Elijah and Peter had been in the velley of depression as well.
Elijah wanted to die after fleeing to Horeb (1Kings 19:3-4).
The Lord lifted him up with a gentle whisper, "What are you doing here?" (1 Kings 19:9,13).
Peter gave up on himself after disowning his Lord three times.
The Lord lifted him up with an eternal query, "Do you love me?" (John 21:15a, 16a, 17a).
How can we get out of our valley of depression?
We can cry out to the Lord (Ps 5:3)
He is our Shepherd (Ps 23:1).
He is our refuge (Ps 91:2).
He is our best friend who loves at all times(Pr 17:17).
He is the One and Only in heaven and on earth ( Ps 73:25,26).
He is willing to give His love if we ask (Mk 1:41).
Do you hear what I hear?
The Lord is sing the love song to us, "Love, I am willing".
When we sing the same love song "Love, I am willing" to Him in response, we are healed.

These days I saw and heard many deaths. Death could mean the end of life, dream and hope. I couldn't help feeling sad. I turned to my son and sought words of prayer. I turned to my Lord and sought words of comfort. Thank God for giving me these words (1Th 4:13,14; Rev 21:3,4). Because of the Lord's death and resurrection (Jn 11:25,26), we can find peace. Because of the Lord's promise (2Co1:20), our dream and hope never die.
