默想: 約書亞帶領以色列人在利非訂與亞瑪力人打戰。摩西卻帶領亞倫與戶珥在山頂，為約書亞與以色列人舉手代求。當摩西高舉雙手時，以色列人就得勝，當摩西手酸下垂時，以色列人就打敗。亞倫與戶珥設法讓摩西坐在石頭上，甚至在摩西的兩旁扶住他的手，一直到約書亞帶領以色列人，將亞瑪力人完全打敗。這是一幅很美的團隊侍奉圖像。求主幫助和平教會，也能夠建立這麼美好的團隊侍奉。

Instead of praying to the Lord for help, the Israelites complained and found fault with Moses. Though their desire was fulfilled ultimately, the way they resorted to was not pleasing to the Lord. After all, we should love our Lord with our heart, our soul, our mind, and our strength rather than put Him to the proof.
The LORD said to Moses, "I will stand before you on a rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and the water will come out of it for the people to drink.”
The place was name Massah and Mer'ibah, because the Israelites complained and put the LORD to the test when they asked, “Is the LORD with us or not?”
It’s similar to what Jesus was crucified for us. I hope that Spirit is full of my heart, the appreciation instead of the complaint and the trust instead of the test.

「你為甚麼將我們從埃及領出來？」其實是很好的問題，我們也應當常常這樣問自己「神為什麼在這個時候把我擺在這裡？」當我們再次確認帶領我們"出埃及"的是神自己、為要成就神至善至美的心意，那麼一切的問題（艱難）神必會負責到底。
